Need Admission Guidance Help
Today, a bachelor degree is not sufficient. Possessing a specialized degree in post graduation is must in order to survive in this cutthroat world; this is where MBA degree rules the roost. In the past decade, a new trend has emerged in the field of education. It has been observed that only MBAs are in the rise. Till 2011, plenty of management aptitude tests were conducted to get admission to the course. As a result, candidates had to go through unexpressed traumatic period. To change the scenario, AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), being the responsible body for organizing and proper coordination of technical and management education launched CMAT exam.
CMAT stands for Common Management Aptitude test. The entrance exam is conducted to judge the students’ capabilities in various skills such as logical reasoning, data interpretation and current affairs. It’s a mandatory test to secure admission to the first year of post graduate management programmes in the colleges that are approved by AICTE. There are more than 3500 business schools that utilized CMAT score for admission. The test is conducted twice a year.
Candidates can appear for both the exams and the better of two scores will be utilized for the admission process.

CMAT Registration / Application Form
Interested candidates must fill pre-registration form that will be accessible from the website. Once the candidates pay the test fees, they will be provided with a project followed by the appointment verifier with details of the time and date from the Test Center.
Post submission of personal details and payment option details, student will be provided with his or her CMAT ID and password through mail. After this, student should log in to his/her e-mail address provided for registration and validate the mail received by him/her from CMAT by logging in again.
Students must retain the CMAT ID and password as both will be required in future for downloading the Admit Card. Then, they will be asked to download and print the CMAT pay slip of Rs. 1200 and bank charges on A4 size paper. The printed pay slip of CMAT is needed to proceed further by candidate at any branch of State Bank of India.
